Paint Over Doubt Collection

Every piece in this series begins with a real, anonymous doubt. I write it into the canvas, then cover it with something more positive: hearts, stars, butterflies to quieten its grip.

The doubt isn’t erased. It’s still there underneath, but transformed into part of the story.
These works are reminders that doubt doesn’t get the final word.

Where the Doubt Creatures Began

Before Paint Over Doubt, the doubt creature appeared raw and unhidden. They crept into earlier works as black, whiskered shapes, sneaky, quiet, pretending to help while holding you back.

These originals mark the foundation of the series. They show doubt in its original form, before the act of painting over it began.
