Sometimes I think - Limited Edition Print

"Sometimes I Think" is my playful commentary on the world of social media. Have you ever wondered how something as simple as stirring or scraping paint can capture attention, just because it's done by a big influencer? 

I created a video with a voiceover to go with the creation of this piece.

I started by painting a loose cartoon bunny, this was because cute animals seem to be a hit on social media. Then I swiped paint across the surface (like the influencers do).

Eventually, an abstract face emerges with words collaged in place: "Sometimes I think I should just paint cute bunnies." But then I admit that I am going to stick to being me and painting what I love.

This piece has a graffiti vibe with sky blue and pink hues, while yellow pastels and collaged paper add hints of whimsy.

Sometimes social media is a puzzle; they say they want us to share our uniqueness, but they reward us for following trends. Ultimately, we should welcome individuality and stay authentic to who we are.
