Walk on the Wild Side Steampunk Inspired Mixed Media Face Painting
This piece was created last year in response to a Twitter Art competition. I remember hearing the brief and thinking Yuk. The colours in the brief were ones that I would never have chosen. But I was persuaded by another artist to give it a go and I am so glad I did.
I am really happy with how it turned out and have since used that colour combo several times and I love it. It just goes to show that moving outside your comfort zone can really help push your art forward.
