Red Faced Original Painting

This face is anything but ordinary, leaving you wondering, is he a man or a machine?

Amidst the swirl of uncertainty, one thing is clear – he's a traveler from another time, a mysterious figure bearing a vertical red stripe that crosses through his eye. Is it a symbol of his clan, a mark of identity etched into his existence?

The process behind this piece was loose and free. I started with playful red marks applied with an acrylic marker. The subtle marks of charcoal helped the face emerge. Detail was added with pastels in black and blue.

Tucked in a corner like an artist's signature is an area of indecipherable handwriting. Are these his instructions from another realm or the thoughts that fall from his mind (or maybe it's just his shopping list 😉)?
